We used to vacation in Puerto Peñasco very regularly when I was younger, there’s no way I would step across the Mexican border again. Mexico is a failed narco-state where nobody is safe anywhere.

Agree.

Had an uncle who, many years ago, used to fish there.

We had family in El Paso and - many years ago - would visit and cross the border for a fun day of shopping and an excellent lunch. Same with Laredo/Nuevo Laredo.

NOT ANY MORE!!

I don’t know anyone who goes across that border, anymore.

I’m amazed that HGTV glamorizes Americans looking for properties down there (House Hunters International). They make it seem so idyllic.
Of course for them, Mexico is probably the cheapest country to film in.
Wonder if anybody featured on the show has ended up in a mass grave.
