White House counselor Kellyanne Conway confronted CNN's Wolf Blitzer on live television Thursday after he played footage of her husband criticizing President Trump and Republicans as part of MSNBC's coverage of the impeachment hearing the day before.
Conway accused CNN of "embarrassing" itself by playing the remarks from frequent Trump critic George Conway, suggesting it was only doing so in a bid to drive ratings and make her look bad.
Blitzer then told Conway he had a “final question” for her.
“It’s a sensitive question and it’s a political question. It’s a substantive question," Blizter says. "I don’t want to talk about your marriage, I know there are issues there. Your husband, George Conway, is a lawyer —”

“I think you embarrassed yourself and I’m embarrassed for you because this is CNN now?” she continued. “I looked up to you when I was in college and law school, I would turn on CNN to see what Wolf Blitzer had to say about war, famine, disruption abroad. I really respected you for all those years as someone that would give you the news and now it’s what somebody’s husband says.”

Good for her. Politics has to cause some tension in her marriage, and for Blitzer to focus on her husband to make a point is despicable.

She let them off easy. Should’ve said, “My marriage is fine”, thanks for your concern. Now let’s talk about your spouse.
Really it is George and Kellyanne who should be embarrassed.

Mocking his wife through Trump. Who knows why she stays with him.. it could be so many things, but at this point the ball is in her court.
She needs to get out of her marriage or out of the White House. Whichever can come first. She is an embarrassment that the MSM will continue to feed on until she is no longer available.
This is the first time I’ve semi-agreed with Wolf Blitzer about anything. Her dipchit husband is a completely disrespectful embarassment to her, it’s way past time he either shut up or she tendered her resignation. I can’t imagine having a spouse run their mouth about my boss the way he does. If she can’t see that it’s a clown show then that’s her fault, not Blitzer’s. She’s a spokesperson for the President and this makes her look bad which affects her ability to do her job. This crap needs to come to an end by either George shutting up, her resigning, or a divorce. Her husband is putting this out in public so like it or not it is a public issue and it’s fair game to ask about it. If she wants it kept private then she needs to get her husband to keep it private.

It any case, it it still despicable for Blitzer to do that to her -- or really to anyone.
Their marriage is a mystery, all right. But if she leaves one or the other, it may well get worse, not better. He’d be besieged with book contracts, as would she if it was “well written.” He’d be even less constrained, and becoming totally unhinged could mean real trouble.
Wolf is merely stating the obvious.
Her husband is monstrous.

Donald Trump is thinking about naming George Conway as the US Solicitor General. Conway said he would accept that position but first, he should win the confirmation from Senate. If he wins this position then he will be the first Asian – American to be US Solicitor general. Conway is a Filipino descent. Trump’s good relationship with his counselor and trusted adviser Kellyanne and her family might also be one of the reasons to appoint George, who is a very experienced corporate lawyer.
Trump believes that Kellyanne’s ideas and influences are the main reason he won the election over Hillary Clinton.

Would Wolf Blitzer be asking a male politician such questions if their wife disagreed on such matters? Doubt it. I believe CNN is being sexist.
