If Vindman was talking to other about the phone call he may have broken the law.

Windman said the release of info about the call was to a cleared person with a "need to know". More than likely, no laws broken. The deep state has a free reign in that regard.

Not so sure about that because in closed testimony Repubs tried to cross examine Vindman but Schifty shut them down which these Repubs later related on TV occurred.

Lt. Col. Vindman is not the person who makes that call. Need to know and clearance are determined by other officials. IF those officials determined that person had the clearance AND need to know, then he was authorized to talk. If not, he committed an offense against the UCMJ, and should be prosecuted for it. MInd you, it requires BOTH clearance and need to know to perform official duties.
