If you have been on the STEM university job market for the last 4-5 years and have checked out Chinese institutions, you may know that there are a dozen or more Thousand Talents programs over there. They are willing to pay real money to hire very good international researchers that teach science in English. Their salary levels can attract top level STEM scholars. If the science is created in China, exactly what do you intend to do about it?
