WASHINGTON (AP) — Ambassador Gordon Sondland declared to impeachment investigators Wednesday that President Donald Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani explicitly sought a “quid pro quo” with Ukraine, leveraging an Oval Office visit for political investigations of Democrats. But he also came to believe the trade involved much more.

It's a straight-up lie.

Lisa Mascaro, Mary Clare Jalonick and Eric Tucker of the AssPress wrote this story 45 minutes ago, at 6:35 pm EST.

They're liars.

This federally employed weasel has a wife in Seattle who owns several hotels. A Democrat state representative has organized a boycott against her company because her husband is in the Trump White House and was thought to be a supporter of the president.

So today he changes his story & said there was a quid pro quo arrangement that allowed the Ukrainian president to come to the White House if he would look into corruption. Schi**’s eyeballs almost popped out of their sockets in the excitement of this nothing burger moment. This coup stinks worse every day.

Is this before he said he didn’t want quid pro quo, or after it?

Here the problem for the fake news. They all popped a woody and raced to publish the lie and did not bother to hang around and see the cross where Sondland totally disc credited everything they are claiming in their lying coverage

The 4 fatal words that shot the Democrat Fascist party lie in the head right at the start.

“In my personal view”

He also said THIS which proves this spin a shameless lie

Sondland: “I’ve never heard from President Trump that the aid was conditioned on the investigations.”

Game over. That he assumed something is utterly irrelevant

What I heard was that he was told NO QUID PRO QUO by Trump in a phone call. Why is that not the headline?

Because these Media people work directly for the Democratic National Committee.

It may not matter but it made me feel better.

FAKE NEWS, Jordan and others cleaned the ambassador’s clock on this. He’s a worm who keeps changing his story. In the end, he was forced to admit to his sworn deposition, Trump specifically told him he did not want a quid pro quo, he wanted Zelensky to simply “do the right thing.”

“Bottom line: The guy must believe Trump was lying to him.”

Because nobody has seen a politician turn down an opportunity for a quod pro quo.

The AP IS, straight up, Public Enemy #1 to the United States of America. Each and every editor should be identified, dragged out of his or her office, and ridden out of town on a rail.

And the way he whined about it today made it sound like the "mean Republicans" were the people calling for the boycott to bully him. That whole exchange was almost barf-inducing.

No -— he did NOT say that. Schiff SAYS he said that— but HE DID NOT! Simple as that, but certainly not a cause for media to TELL the f’n TRUTH!

Maybe is is time to raid the stations, bombard them with petitions and other cameras. Get them on record.

Could you please provide a source for this info? I know about the hotels they own but have not heard about a boycott by a State Representative.
