How would calling the whistleblower help?
What questions could they ask which would be answered in a way that would cut through the news cycle? It would be, more-or-less a repeat of what we’ve already heard. “I heard from so-and-so the President tried to bribe Ukraine and I didn’t like it.”
If the GOP gets the chance to call witnesses, what they need to do is put the focus on Biden and Burisma and the legitimacy of the President’s request for an investigation.
Calling the whistleblower does nothing other than get a news cycle of “GOP outs whistleblower, what bad dudes.”
Just then, Schiff pulled out a gun and shot McCarthy, then said, “this demonstrates the need for common-sense gun control. Thank you.” McCarthy replied, “Call me an ambulance!” and Schiff replied, “You’re an ambulance. See. I am so bi-partisan.”
Now you know why the Dems tried to get him out with their ethics inquiry...or whatever it was that kept Nunes out of a committee for 6 months. He was totally cleared.

The letter is cute and his intentions are good. But the only way it’ll be effective is if the RAT sheeple are aware of it, which never will happen. The unfairness of the whole proceedings needs to be broadcasted far and wide in some way. Even idiots understand basic fairness.
I figure about 80% of them have no clue this has been entirely one-sided. All Americans need to put themselves in the place of Trump and understand that this could happen to them. What if they were wrongly accused of something, the judge refused to let them have an attorney, refused to tell them who made the accusation, and refused to allow any testimony to prove their innocence? It could happen to them. Do they get that?

Don’t care. The Senate has to have fair rules for the President. I feel they will do exactly the same thing. The Grassley, Romney, Collins types will make sure of it and the Repukes will bend to them. This whole thing is a sc and the Repukes are in on it
