He’s having a flashback alright.
The funny thing about this analogy is that the reason OJ walked was largely because it was investigated by a racist cop who brought a vial of blood evidence back to the scene, a glove that did not fit, a timeline that they couldn’t make work etc. In other words, it gave the appearance that OJ was being framed.
Also, the glove did fit as well as any driving glove could fit if you tried to put in on over the top of a latex glove. The glove manufacture provided evidence that the glove was purchased by, and was the property of, OJ Simpson.
The idea that Simpson couldn't fit into his own glove is ridiculous.
I don't remember the details about a vial of blood evidence supposedly being carried back to the murder scene, but that doesn't change the fact of the blood found at OJ Simpson's house belonging to the two victims.
I do recall much was made about the claim some samples contained a preservative that was added to the blood at the lab, but this was a common substance found in paint and other surface coatings, and so it is unsurprising that a sample taken off of a painted gate would contain this chemical.
