Planned Parenthood is a little like the IRS, in that they believe they are above the law and can basically get away with anything; they have good reasons for thinking this, because the courts have declined to hold them to the law, and lawmakers have created a legislative framework that acts like a shield for them.
They see themselves as an existential benefit to humanity, and feel that anyone who disagrees is evil and worthy of the harshest possible treatment.
That’s a good analogy of PP and the IRS, many tyrants in both organizations.
