Trade a sure win by appointing a third lifetime-tenured Supreme Court Justice for a chance to serve four more years and maybe get more opportunities to appoint? I don't think that is wise.
Your plan would energize Democrats and disappoint conservatives. I don't think that would increase the chances of winning. I would take the sure thing.
Breyer seems relatively healthy and the other libs on the Court are relatively young. I would rather see Ginsburg replaced as soon as possible and then perhaps Thomas to enjoy his golden years by allowing Trump to replace him. (Thomas will definitely be missed.) Same with Alito, who is 69.

I thought they were to prevent the Trump administration from ending the flow of laundered D.C.-style bribes coming from Ukraine.
Just the other day I read an article about a group of senators -- led by Ted Cruz -- attempting to impede the construction of a Russia-to_Germany natgas pipeline intended to bypass Ukraine and its bribe/extortion racket. Now isn't that interesting, especially in light of what we have recently learned about Ukrainian natgas companies?
President Trump better double up on his security, because if the Rats fail to remove him through impeachment, would you put it past them to pull a Kennedy on him?
