That’s right.

The “f’n” is optional, but is a NYC adjective that almost always modifies shovels or any other nouns under certain common circumstances, including
“Give me the f’n ...” and:

Where did I put the f’n ...

Are you done with that f’n ...

You think I’m gonna use that f’n ...

It’s about time I had a f’n ...

No one’s gonna pay that much for a f’n ...

Yeah sure, I need that like I need a f’n

That’s a nice f’n ...

In fact it’s the best f’n ... I ever had!

etc etc ... et f’n cetera!

f’n - just use it place of a comma.
