Carol Folt and Mike Bohn are relatively new to USC, so both probably are still finding their way around campus as they try to incorporate cardinal and gold into their everyday attire. Chances are, they have yet to enjoy the simple pleasures of waiting in line to get into the 9-0 or devouring the carne asada fries at the taco stand formerly known as Chano’s.

The last time I ate at the 901 Club on Figueroa, aka the 9-0, the burgers were pretty good, but I swear they tasted better when the bar and grill was at 901 West Jefferson Blvd., back when John McKay was our head coach.

I don't go for carne asada fries, but I do like the burritos at El Huero, formerly Chano's, on Figueroa. There still is a Chano's over in the Boyle Heights area that serves good huevos rancheros for breakfast.
