Just watched it the other day.I was distinctly unimpressed. The chant seems to be "it's Scorsese's crowning achievement". I don't think it's *nearly* as good as Goodfellas which,IMO,*is* his crowning achievement. I don't even think it's as good as Casino...which was good but certainly not great.
When it comes out on 4K (or basic blu ray) I'll borrow it from my local library and hook up my headphones. Maybe I'll like it better the second time around.
