At the dawn of the Information Age, I was naively optimistic. I thought it would bring education and enlightenment--and consequently liberty, justice, and prosperity--that it would bring TRUTH--to all the people of the world: viz. The American Dream!
What a disillusionment was the terrifying realization that it would bring propaganda to all the people of the world! that it would give a megaphone to the world's most ruthless, misguided, and unscrupulous knaves and fools! that it had the unprecedented potential to make George Orwell's nightmare, 1984, a reality!
As a Believer, I KNOW that the Truth spreads best when it is suppressed and oppressed. Those with a dishonest bent will do all they can to twist the system in their favor. I could see little Justin(e) removing tax-free status from any and all churches that do not knuckle under to the LGBTQS*IT agenda. I could eventually see such churches banned by those follow on in True-dope’s footsteps. The good news is that it is in such oppressive circumstances that faith grows. Look at the Chinese house churches!
Is the American system the best system ever devised? NO! But it is the best, or one of the best ever devised by man. Of course, God’s system is superior to any system devised by man but we are unwilling to follow it.
Trump speaks how he sees it. True-dope is two faced. He is a fraud, a criminal (per his own Ethics Commissioner), a groper of multiple females and seems to prey on females. In a true ‘Just Society’ (a phrase his father, Pierre, coined), he would be serving time in the crowbar hotel. One can hope that will change but our Leader of the Opposition appears to still be awaiting his testes to drop, so I am not holding my breath for such an event.
