Michael Savage's brilliant tie of Bible truths to impeachment

Talk radio rock star Michael Savage, in an opinion piece, tied the current impeachment crusade against President Donald Trump to biblical truths about the persecution and crucifixion of Jesus Christ; to the Jews of yesteryear versus the Jews of today; and to the prosecution of an innocent by the Romans and Pontius Pilate to modern time Deep State evils.

It’s a most brilliant comparison. Read the Gospels; see for yourself. (That’s Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, for you secularists and pagans and scoffers of the world, by the way.)

I can't always tolerate Savage, but this analogy is spot on, imo. also see: https://www.newsmax.com/michaelsavage/antisemitism-impeachment-trump/2019/12/03/id/944351/

Thanks will read after the dinner dishes and couch!!!
Why did they take him off talk radio?

What happened does anyone know. I looked on the internet could not find anything.

He was my drive on the way home. Yeah, we do not always agree but so smart.

Was he threatened? I think that is what happened.

“Like a lamb that is led to slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, So He did not open His mouth.”

Insofar as Trump is a civil servant he 1.) is in no position to atone for anyone elses sin, and 2.) is obligated to open his mouth in self-defense.

Dr. Savage’s home station is KSFO in San Francisco. He is on the air daily in several cities around the country.

His yelling, screaming, ranting and raving are out of control. Although that may be moot.
He just came back Monday from a week off, only to announce today he's taking off next week.
Can't turn him off if he's not on.

Look for The KSFO live or recorded podcast straight out of the Studio.

I have merely pointed out two biblical truths that do not apply in this case The balance may be reasonably shown as metaphorically correct if one gives latitude to the defibition of “metaphor.”

I’m not a big fan either but he was brilliant yesterday. If only he could keep up this level without resorting to petty jealousy of Rush and Hannity.

A few years back, Mister Savage (not his real name) made a big deal on his show about how AR-15s should be banned.

His reasoning was stuffed with mis-truths and commonly spread fallacies and myths about sporting rifles, and he ranted over and over citing nonsense. Then, IIRC and in true Savage fashion, he ridiculed and hung up on sincere callers who tried to reason with him and explain his errors.

That was the very last time that he darkened my radio dial.

Please listen to the podcast.

Savage was careful about making any parallels of theology.

His parallels were to the politics of the situation.
