Take a chance on apologetics. See: R. C. Sproul and John MacArthur. Further, see: John Piper, Spurgeon, Luther, Paul Washer.... and the list of good, solid theological teaching goes on. Listen first, read your bible and then choose a church that is true to the Word. And pray for guidance.
I grew up with a lot of Jewish Families, I probably identify more with them. When the Episcopal Church made that huge left turn that was the end of it for me and I haven’t been back in a long time.
On XMAS Eve at times I went to a Catholic service as it was close to the Episcopal Church.
As time has gone on I feel more closeness to the Jewish people and faith. I may even have some Jewish ancestors.
So for me to take that route would be one that I would be comfortable with.
