When you were in Basic?

I’m from San Antonio. Even from the early 1970’s I remember “Arabs” in the service.

Arabs was the common term we used back then.

I was in Basic at Lackland AFB in September-November 1977.

Back then there was a training squadron from Iran on the base. They all had huge service caps that looked like giant Pringles.
