A 16-year-old high school student in Michigan claims her male teacher assaulted her for wearing a “Women For Trump” pin.

Sadie Earegood, a junior at Mason High School, told FOX 47 that the alleged incident unfolded last Thursday when her teacher confronted her, saying he didn’t like the pin.

“That’s fine, you don’t have to like it, we can have our opinions,” she recalled telling the educator.

Once we have a complete understanding of the situation, we will take appropriate action,” school superintendent Ronald Drzewicki told the outlet.

Good lord, the “situation” seems simple enough to understand.

Let me guess. Nothing will happen to the teacher and the wearing of any political pins will be banned at the school

Video at the link.

More detail and discussion of the school dress code.

I wouldn’t put it past the school and school board to try and use the dress code to get the teacher out of hot water.

Not so sure about the teacher staying out of trouble. Mason is small town conservative Michigan.

A grown man fought that 16 year old girl for the pin on her shirt, he ripped it off and kept it. Her dad should go knock his teeth out. Take it to a jury. You only need one parent to vote not guilty.

I’ve never, ever heard of a Republican pulling such a stunt.

There is a problem when Democrats do not fear repercussions for this behavior.

The teacher should fear for his safety, not just his livelihood.

When they speak of understanding the "situation," I'll bet they mean once their lawyers have advised them of the legal ramification of the situation (and potential PR damage--local, regional, and national).

They are thinking L Lin Wood, Nick Sandmann, Covington Catholic High, and $$$$$ lawsuits if handled incorrectly.

The student is named but not the assailant.

If this left wing asshole had put his hands on my daughter like that he would still be on life support.

So far he has gotten off lucky.

You do not put your hands on my child just because your political ego got bent.

“He grabbed it and I pulled and I tried to push his hand away and he grabbed my shoulder,” said Earegood.

The student’s mom told the network that they filed a police report, accusing the teacher of criminal assault and larceny.

“He had no right to put his hands on my child over a pin or anything else,” fumed Capi Earegood, Sadie’s mother.

What clearer example does anyone need of government run totalitarianism?

When an adult male in authority thinks it’s okay to put his hands on a girl’s shirt (and worse - I assume the pin was on or near her breasts), that is a serious problem. I do not have enough information to know whether this man is an Antifa terrorist or just a supporter of those terrorists, but he clearly has joined his fellow Nazi scum in dehumanizing those who do not march in lockstep with their demands.

“’That’s fine, you don’t have to like it, we can have our opinions, she recalled telling the educator.”

Great answer.

I’ll have to check out the video to see if there were witnesses. Is it assault? (Title says “assault”.) Battery?

I am surprised that they are not already barred from being worn in school.

Look what they have done with Tshirts. They cannot be worn unless they are completely blank.

Surprised they do not make them remove the tags from the inside.

This 16 year old child is more adult than her teacher is.

Thanks for the vid.

They may use what you mentioned but that does not allow the teacher to place his hands on her.

That is wrong and the guy needs his jewels handed to him.
