And as usual it appears to be an emotional/brainwashed version of the truth. Little else explains Trump hate. Canada is headed in the wrong way and there does not seem to be anything stopping them. They do have a lot of crude oil but high taxation and a dual language in a small country could easily spell disaster in the making.

What are the odds of a great re-awakening in Canada ? It was a struggle, but the Brits did it. Canada can plainly see what's happening here.

Is their self-image and righteous political superiority enough to counter the economic boom passing them by, with high taxes, loss of freedoms and all the rest that liberalism brings. Perhaps they think they're better than their racist, homophobic neighbors to the south..

Your friends must be in the east where blue population centers dictate to the western plains.
