Here's the original comment I made:
I consider it extremely rude and offensive. Jailed and put on a perpetual sexual offenders list? No. Fined and ordered to pay damages? Yes. The guy was a Youth Minister in some local church for goodness sakes! He certainly should lose that title.
So I'm saying only three things:
1. The guy shouldn't be put in jail or arrested.
2. He should be sued and pay the woman damages.
3. He was a youth minister and shouldn't be one any longer.
You then replied with this:
Yeah, ok I get it. You dont want a strange guy pinching/grabbing your butt. Back in the day if a guy made an unwanted move such as this the woman would either give him a warning or else smack him in the face. That would end it. All the hyperventilating and gasping about how it destroys you is pure over the top bs. When I was a younger man I had my butt grabbed more than once by women. It was in the 70s better known as the sexy 70s. Women suddenly discovered they didnt have to be coy and wait for the guy to make the first move and their sudden liberation caused many of them to act like children turned loose in a candy store. I never took offense and in fact felt complimented and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I said nothing about someone grabbing or pinching my butt, nor mentioned a single word about how it destroyed "me". BUT, someone else I was replying to, did. And actually, I never quoted anyone.
So it really did seem to me you were not being careful as to who you were replying to in the first place.
It’s a good thing he wasn’t a Scoutmaster, he would be crucified
Youth Ministers, priests and choir director queers get a free pass because they are churchmen
Enough. Use some kind of accreditation if referencing the words of another.
It avoids confusion and there is no excuse other than laziness if it is not done.
