Wasn’t Noah Feldman one of the law professors that testified in Nadler’s dog and pony show? Wasn’t he asked by Rep. Ratcliff to name a high crime that PDJT had committed. Didn’s all four of the professors sit there and behave like the Tar Baby and jus say nuttin. This entire impeachment fiasco is totally for the benefit for the useful idiots that will vote for a Democrat no matter what.

...but this doesn’t change the fact that the ostensible goal of impeachment is to remove him...

The "ostensible goal" of this impeachment spectacle is to distract from the Obama administrations criminal spying on the 2016 Trump Campaign and Presidency. Reporting on the IG scandalous report has vanished. Goal accomplished.

“as the Atlantic Council’s Faysal Itani put it”

The Atlantic Council is a literal cesspool possibly a CIA front. They are part of the money laundering scheme.

You nailed it. And it is that Democrat refusal to accept the results of an election they don’t like that is the single greatest threat to any democratic or republican system of government. If one side isn’t willing to accept results they don’t like, then the other side has no obligation to do so either.

Let the GOP hope then, for its own sake, that it does not choose poorly.

"Democrats will rightly ask how it is that their fellow Americans could reelect—after everything they know—a president both disgraced and impeached. In impeaching Trump, House Democrats are posing a question whose answer they do not want to hear."

Liberal tears are going to be cheap and plentiful. Think Bottled Water.

True. Dumbass decisions by Republican leadership could turn the lion loose.

The writer of the article talks about economic equality without noticing that the wealthiest zip codes in the country voted for Hillary.

Meanwhile the “deplorables” are the working people the Democrats are trying to claim as their own.

What a joke these lefties are...

“Maybe sometimes you gotta do something even if it’s a bad idea.”

Gads! The Democrat Party has found its new motto!

And, no mention of Joe and Hunter Biden. Wow. Great analysis.

Democrats only believe in democracy when they win the election.

I’d say they only believe in it when they’re running for office. Once they win, democracy goes out the window. :)

I find myself praying for Donald Trump along these lines more and more . . .

“I would they were even cut off which trouble you” (Galatians 5:12).

As I am a literalist when it comes to Bible interpretation, that means that they would all die. Just drop dead.

“Joy cometh in the morning . . .”

Gosh!! I am getting so tired of the same old, same old BS about President Trump “certainly’ having committed deeds qualifying to Impeachment level WITHOUT going into detail or even naming what it is/was he has done. (sorry for the long sentence)

This guy is just posturing to cushion the fall he is facing.

MAGA. Amen

Or more fatalistically, as the Atlantic Council’s Faysal Itani put it: “Maybe sometimes you gotta do something even if it’s a bad idea.” Democrats have probably made the right choice. It’s just a choice Americans may have to pay for.

WOW. With all the water under the bridge they can't help themselves going back to the Burisma well. The Atlantic Council is funded in part by Burisma. Incredible how their name keeps popping up in all of these discussions.

Hamid is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute and the author of a book titled “Islamic Exceptionalism”. That’s sufficient to dismiss him as a waste of protein.

Yup, he admits it is a coup, and for the most base reasons:

“More substantively, a full-blown impeachment trial distracts Democrats from their natural strengths: channeling Americans’ anger against massive inequality and economic injustice and moving Americans toward what I’ve described as the “economics of meaning,” in which economic or class critiques are a means to focus anger, create meaning, and build solidarity. “

Their whole purpose is agitation, not day to day nuts and bolts living as normal humans. What sick sick minds.
