Around here range horses are a real pest. The Feds have not managed them well and wild horse advocates sue every time there is a round up. They invade suburbia on a regular basis and destroy landscaping and property as well as damage the open range. A few years ago some idiots shot some close to Virginia City and got significant jail time. I own horses and like them. They are not my pets. They a work animals and earn their keep.

If they’re that much of a menace in numbers and damage, then there should be legal ways to put them down like with dogs and cats.
Hate to sound cold but I don’t know what the overpopulation is like. It sounds kinda bad.
