In addition, the term “evangelical” is almost meaningless today. When Jim Wallis goes unchallenged when he calls himself and evangelical, what genuine protestant Christian would want to claim the label?
Well how about that. “Christianity Today” puts out an article, and then coincidentally Politico has a poll....
Most people have no idea what “Evangelical” means. Or “Born Again” for that matter....
It’s a Polluteico poll. Nothing more needs to be said.
And, I know this will be hard to believe, but not one was a constituent of the congresscritter.
But hey, they're ‘deeply faithful Evangelicals’ who ‘refuse to remain silent.’ Yep, yep. Shocking stuff, ain't it?
Then again, I can't recall the last time I answered an opinion survey.
I define myself as American, first and foremost. Everything else a distant second.
And as this is probably fake poll BS to divide and conquer, I’ll take it with a grain of salt. But I know many folks who call themselves “evangelicals” who are ridiculously liberal.
I guess they don’t care about dead babies.

This poll was conducted between December 19-December 20, 2019 among a national sample of 1387
Registered Voters. The interviews were conducted online and the data were weighted to approximate
a target sample of Registered Voters based on age, educational attainment, gender, race, and region.
Is there an “evangelical party”? How do you poll them?
One of the tricks they pull is if you are black and protestant, you are automatically classified as an “evangelical.”

They are using a broad definition of evangelicals in this study, to include Catholic and non-Christian “evangelicals” - so they can include demographics that have been against Trump all along.
The POLITICO/Morning Consult poll surveyed 1,387 likely voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Reading the numbers in the poll of various groups, it seems “off” to me.
“I expect a few more “polls” to instruct us what to think this week.”

Oh sure. The biggest pro-life president we’ve had since Reagan, and evangelicals are “against” him? I’m sure these same “pollsters” have a poll that shows 100% of evangelicals would have no problem with a Pete Buttigieg presidency. What a crock of s**t!!!
