I suppose it’s the same kind of pitch the Nazis made to the Prussian aristocracy back in the early 1930s. And the Prussians bought it. They thought they could control Hitler like a person controls a dog on a leash.

Liberal elites think if commies take over they’ll be ‘insiders’. In totalitarian cultures ‘insiders’ have power and control over others that hasn’t been seen in this country since the civil war and slavery.
