Too early. I heard in Russia they are discussing a ban on export of titanium to US and to sanction their companies from Boeing’s trade. That could halt 777 and 787 production for at least 11 months and would cost Boeing billions to replace Russian imports. On top of Max troubles probably it would be the last straw.

No big deal. Plenty of other titanium producers. I’d love to see Uncle Sam start to squeeze Russian companies, though. There are plenty that trade with the EU. Would be nice to zero out their EU revenues. Meanwhile, Trump is starting to look at limiting titanium imports from potentially hostile countries and regions that might be affected during a military conflict with those countries:
