During a rally yesterday, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden spoke to a crowd in Derry, N.H., a town that many miners call home. He acknowledged the economic setbacks and job insecurity that coal miners face these days, and gave them some advice: learn to code.
According to Dave Weigel of the Washington Post, Biden said, Anybody who can go down 3,000 feet in a mine can sure as hell learn to program as well... Anybody who can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program, for Gods sake!

What an arrogant criminal oaf. Lock him up!
There must be someone on the inside sabotaging his campaign.
There is no coal mining in New Hampshire.
Hey Biden, learn to retire.
There are furnaces in coal mines?
Hey Joe - You learn to code. Show them how
This idiot... hey Slow Gropin’ Joe.... why don’t you quit politics and learn to code? Take Dr Jill with you!
Typical leftist criticizing you for not living your life the way they demand.
“Anybody who can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program”
What??? I live down the road from Derry, NH. There is not a coal mine in sight. How is it that this is a place a lot of “coal miners call home”?
He’s also a doofus if he thinks all they have to do is learn to write code to get a job. I think there is a lot more to it than that.
Let them eat code!
... Quid Pro Joe
Yep...that person is Joe Biden.
“What’s that? You say I need to catch a cold? What in tarnation is he talkin’ ‘bout?”
Good point. Seems he was doing a little free association there.
Think a miner could get a gig on the board of an energy company?
There must be something wrong with the reporting. I am not aware of coal mining in NH. And Derry, NH doesn't seem to have any sort of mining at all.
Such a stupid thing to say, and a stupid place to say it. Hard to believe that even Biden could screw up like that.
Biden has helped Trump get re-elected.
