One of my concerns about third party sellers is does Amazon give them your credit card info or does Amazon handle the transaction?

Amazon handles the transaction & doesn’t give your cc info to the seller— which is why I prefer Amazon rather than 1000s of individual online retailers who’ll have your cc info long after you’ve made that one purchase.
Amazon also has a PayPal option. If you just get a PayPal account, you can use that on Amazon & 1000s of other sites, with only PayPal knowing your cc number.

It’s best not to use debit cards— hackers could drain your bank acct.

My understanding is that it’s entirely in house with Amazon.
My bank statements always show the charge as being to Amazon.
The above applies to the ‘fulfilled by’ items in my experience.

The couple times I’ve ordered something that’s ‘sold by and ships from’ 3rd parties, the items have been charged (by my bank) to the 3rd party outfit’s name.
