Iran does not want this conflict. We do not want to hurt Iranian civilians, only crush the mullahs.

If we can do enough to weaken the government the civilians may free themselves after all these years of tyranny.

To see that happen in my lifetime, going from the horrific revolution there to freedom once again would be glorious.

My guess is this is probably part of the already planned assault. For now I will assume that the attackers were a hapless bunch that didn't get the word that the old man had been blowed up, or maybe the only one's that were willing to move forward with the plan.

Killing that asswipe will probably stall any new plans for the forseeable future.

The problem with Iran is that the people are not really the regime. It would be like fighting hitler by bombing the concentration camps.

I grew up with nothing to carry me in the hard places. Mother died when I was 4. father In the war and my grandmother raised me... a good woman. but I had no family money to hold weight. I had no dad go to bat for me. I was nobody.. but I had a lot of fight...held in tow... TOday I have a son who is an attorney. do you know that ONE letter from an attorney will get just about everyone off a back... and especially when he is the son and they know it’s not costing me a dime.
I say all that to reiterate a fight is needed to set things straight many times...and Trump is my favorite fighter. Taking the lumps go only so far in a fighter’s mind...

It was almost on the brink of happening...when Obama stopped it by reinforcing the mullahs and refusing to even acknowledge the Iranian people. Suleimani was in charge of organizing the killings, torture and imprisonment of the protestors.
