The very real problem is that the left fights multi-front wars. They will fight these mostly “white nationalist gun racist Trump voters” as they import millions of younger people who will replace the “whites”. Our side desperately needs to get the younger out front (we do have them).
A few folks without salt and pepper everywhere, maybe a few Asians, a few more blacks, some filipinos, you know; perhaps a more realistic cross section of NRA members, as opposed to the Santa Claus-grandpa brigade I see in this photo.

Looking at it from a militia perspective, young people have their entire lives to look forward to. A militia group of seasoned “DO NOT GAF” patriots sniping from behind every tree and blade of grass? That’s not a level of resolve I’d want to face in this specific kind of conflict.
Perhaps - but the more youthful ones wouldn’t be there without the examples and tutelage of the elders..kind of shows respect to allow the elders be in the van.
At least that’s the point of view of this “elder” 67 year old.
