Yikes, that does sound serious! At least you can say that up until now your state respected the 2nd Amendment. Here in the People’s Republic of California they make it extremely difficult to get a CC permit and there are all kinds of regulations on what kinds of guns and ammo you can have.
Hopefully those not afraid to put them to good use will find them.
“He has a lot of nicknames.”
Yep, not one of them good.
Evil has many names.
“What would they do when several hundred armed people show up to stop the gun grab?”
Crap their panties and call every state trooper in the state. But when seconds count the police are minutes (hours?) away.
VCDL has email alerts.

....”I pray for you folks in Virginia...a state I love.”
Ditto.... I lived there for almost a half-century... went to my first gun show there; bought my first handgun there; learned the fine art of shooting there; studied for and earned my NRA Certified Pistol Instructor rating...it just breaks my heart to see how far left the Commonwealth has drifted in the past 5 decades or so.... live in Texas now...MOLON LABE....!!
1/16/2013 - Gov. Cuomo (D-NY) signs the NY SAFE Act in the Red Room at the Capitol.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) during a radio interview exactly 1 year after he signed the NY SAFE Act.
Every time I read the 2nd Amendment I wonder why we don’t have citizen militias in every state. Not National Guard, but real citizen Militias. The 2nd Amendment gives us that right.
The Virginia Beach City Council just voted 6-4 to declare itself a Second Amendment Constitutional City. Score one more for the VCDL.
SCOTUS needs to quickly take action now with a ruling and further the Heller decision making it clear the protected right to bare arms and that all AR15 type semiautomatic rifles are legal and all these state assault weapons bans are illegal before people start dieing.
But not a 2nd amendment sanctuary! Still, I’m surprised they went as far as they did.
