We could end so much vote fraud by just making all of this get out the vote crap Illegal. It should be Illegal. Voting is a responsibility. It is not a game.

It basically started ‘recently’ with the motor voter AND when localities started allowing anyone who lived in an area be allowed to vote no matter how legal or illegal they were it got them on the rolls and we are seeing how it is almost impossible to get them off.

Back when I was a lad, all the ‘borscht belt’ comedians used to joke about how people who summered in NY and wintered in FL were voting in both places as they had legal addresses in both places.
Believe the general consensus was NO ONE would do such a low down thing...NOW we have to more or less believe that it was an active game.

Wasn’t that long ago there was a push for a National ID which most everyone was against.

It probably isn’t a bad idea since ID theft is so rampant and your SS # is/was being used for far too many reasons which makes ID theft easier.

A national ID tied in with voting would hopefully make it once a NUMBER was used, it gets ‘discarded’ for that period. With computers etc it wouldn’t be all that difficult.

Pols and the general public etal are more worried about the ‘legitimacy’ of an American Idol or such vote than they are when it comes to electing our Politicians.
