Still no reason to fire her over this. They could simply say don’t show any Hitler parodies anymore, if they truly thought it was risky for the school or wrong. Or, they could say don’t show any parodies anymore.
Maybe they just want to hire someone cheaper, i.e. newer.
The funniest one was Hitler lost his health insurance under Obama and the new plans only in network doctor was Mengele.
I’m with you...way too many Downfall parodies to watch another. But I decided I had to see this one knowing it was made by a student as an extra-credit project and the TEACHER got fired for the STUDENT having made it!
I’m glad I watched it. Great nerdy accounting humor and funny references to student life and burritos.

I never understood the logic behind it. But considering they were political lunatics, when compared to our own lunatics, it’s probably normal behavior. After all, it’s OK to abort your child after birth. The sick left.

I thought of that. If my take on history is correct, Hermann Goering surrendered to the US Army because he figured he’d be treated better (for sure better than what the Russians would have done).

Ironically, in the full-length (directors’ cut?) version of the movie, the first Soviet troops into the bunker are women. When they find the room with the dead children, they are horrified.

Agreed. That one was beyond brilliant. Unfortunately, it went away when the imbeciles who owned the rights to Downfall had the parodies pulled because of copyright claims. It takes a special kind of stupid to fail to realize that the parodies were the best marketing an old movie could ever have.
Did the Scott Brown version ever reappear? I've looked for it a couple of times and couldn't find it.
