Actually, there’s a rather large Christian population in India, mostly in Kerala in the South and in Goa (which is a former Portuguese colony unlike the rest of India). Most Indian Christians are Catholic, as are most of the churches. There are also still many Catholic-run schools, and in most hospitals the nurses are still referred to as “Sister” even if the hospital isn’t religious.
