Tech companies have gotten a free pass to collect our data without our knowing about it, and selling it for almost any purpose. That is not right. But because the government also wants the data, they do nothing to stop it. The government will come up with a solution that allows it to still spy on us. But may stop others from doing it. And they will come up with a solution that allows the government to control the news narrative. Its just a matter of time. I suggest people just stay off Twitter, FB and the rest.

Pretty far down the list on my “give a crap” priority list. Top of the list: at least bring back the mere appearance of a lawful society.

Acquiescing to a limited, controlled affirmative action program is like trying to get a little bit pregnant.

“The Chamber recommends that OFCCP “return to its core mission of fostering true affirmative action by federal contractors and subcontractors”

How about eliminate the whole useless department and pick the best contractor at the best price for effective use of our tax dollars? Or does that make too much sense?

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs decided to file a series of lawsuits against government contractors, including some leading high-tech companies. The goal was to force them to hand over paperwork.

Either it's in the contract, or it's not. This has squat to do with the criminal-law principle of "innocent until proven guilty."
