The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today the entry of a convoy of logistical and military assistance to the International Coalition, from Simalka border crossing with Iraq, the convoy consists of more than 60 trucks and carriers and they carry armored vehicles, 4×4 vehicles, tanks, and electricity generators, and the convoy headed towards al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor where the oil wells are, in support of the Syria Democratic Forces there.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 4th of January 2019 that the SOHR sources confirmed seeing a new batch of trucks belonging to the international coalition enter Syrian territory, about 100 trucks carrying military vehicles, tanks, and military and logistical equipment entered through Al-Walid border crossing with Iraq towards Syrian territory and headed to the international coalition and SDF-held areas in Deir ez-Zor and Hasakah.
While Turkey and Russia are using the idea of a buffer zone between Syria and Turkey as an excuse to ethnic cleans the area South of the Turkish/Syrian border, The US and the Coalition forces continue to support the SDF in the Deir Ezzor oil field area.

There is no Congressional authorization for American troops in Syria.
None.
Get them out.
Now.

When was the last time we got Congressional authorization for a military action?
This is a coalition force operation. Not just US.
I understand your objection.
When was the last time we got Congressional authorization for a military action?
Irrelevant question.

Interesting they’re getting it through via Iraq. My guess is either the PM is doing this troop withdrawal thing just for show, or he doesn’t have any real power.
Situation is fluid.
Not unusual for that part of the world.
Tanks are good. Long range artillery/mortars are great. Javelin anti-tank missiles are heaven.
Looks like Trump IS NOT abandoning our SDF allies, just rearranging the “arrangements”.
What s wrong with Trump. He is not telling the enemy what the plan is before he does it! Not fair! Hear that Adam Schitf?
Some truth there, but I don’t think the Kurd’s will ever give up Kobani (right on the border). They will fall back to gorilla warfare and deal Turkey much misery. I have friends in the strip that Russia and Turkey are in now.
(They are practicing ethnic cleansing there like in Afrin. This is all a power grab for more occupied territory for Turkey.)
