And without the tremendous amount of supplies provided to the Soviets by Britain and America, those sacrifices would have been in vain.

Don’t use “Russia” to describe the Soviet Union; it is a critical difference, because plenty of their casualties were from Ukrainians and Balts fighting AGAINST Stalin.
