There’s also a monetary aspect to it you don’t hear much about. Making expansive claims is a way to get big money funding. How do you think global warming hysteria became a trillion dollar industry? Whether or not the claims of a cancer cure pan out is many years and many millions of dollars of grant funding away.

I recently saw a report that deaths from cancer have declined about 30% over the last 20 years.

I am recurrence free after five years after taking one of the targetted "miracle" drugs. Incredibly expensive and almost totally covered by my insurance.

The same drug has reduced the five year mortality rate of chronic myeloid leukemia from 90% to about 40% (from memory so maybe off some).

This same drug now is available as a generic and has three manufacturers.

It’s not a conspiracy by drug companies that causes there to be lots of stuff that will kill you without medical treatment.

Didn’t Trump recently sign into a law a bill that would allow terminal patients to use whatever experimental treatments available even if not approved by whatever gov agency does that?

Seems to me all cancers are terminal so anyone with it should be able to try this treatment at the earliest possible time after being diagnosed.

supposedly it kicks immune system into high gear too- but what about folks with autoimmune systems- kicking immune system into higher gear would be bad for them- and cause their autoimmune disease to attack healthy tissue even more?

This may or may not be the great cure for cancer they’ve been looking for for so long but I have always been sure that one day they will find it.
