One Investigation of Hunter’s company was still open. One closed due to a Technicality, that routinely and frequently are re-opened by one short form by authorities, a form that was being filed.
Joe Biden knew the Prosecutor was Investigating Burisma.
And who’s going to pretend Hunter and Dad don’t talk on 20 hour flights?
Are they going to say there’s no history of Joe propping up family to the tune of Millions with Companies that Joe can enrich or ruin?

I am trying to pin down the date that obozo anointed Joe to be his Ukraine foreign policy point man. It is around early 2014.
Russia moves into Crimea in Feb-Mar 2014. In Feb 2014, Viktor Yankovych, Ukraine’s president flees/exiled to Russia where he lives today. Hunter joins Burisma in April 2014. Hunter’s lack of qualifications aside, why would VP’s son take a job (1) in a country that is on the verge of going to war with Russia and to whom obozo is trying $$$ to buy our weapons (2) where at minimum both he and his father have the appearance of an ethical issue? In 2015 (not sure on exact date) a State Dept official overseeing Ukraine policy raised concerns about Hunter in Burisma to staffer of Joe. He was turned away (if there were anytime for a whistleblower this was it, no?). Why was there no follow up to State Dept concerns by higher officials?
Burisma was under investigation since 2012 by Ukranian prosecutor Viktor Pshonka for tax evasion and corruption between the years 2010 - 2012. Shokin becomes prosecutor in 2015. US DOJ (a dept now known to provide false FISA applications) was concerned that Shokin was too close to Dmytro Firtash, who was connected to Russian organized crime. EU, bankers, wanted Shokin out too. Shokin asserts President Poroshenko asked him to wind down the Burisma investigation. I don’t have dates when this “ask” was alleged to have happened, or when Shokin first revealed this.
Joe gave his warning to President Poroshenko in Kiev in Dec 2015. When I heard it I was left w/ impression that Shokin was out by the time Joe left 6 hours later. Joe never said Shokin was fired within 6 hours, but that was my impression from his bragging. Shokin tendered his resignation in mid-Feb 2016, except he did not leave. Parliament dismissed Shokin by vote on 03.29.2016. It is reported that Joe called Poroshenko 4 times over the 8 days before the Parliament voted to voice US concerns”.
At best, Joe did not commit any crimes because the US really was concerned about Ukrainian government corruption, being tied to Russia. Nonetheless, he is unqualified to be President because he lacks the ethical temperament. His son never should have gone to Burisma,and neither of them acted as if there was a problem, especially to Joe’s VP position. At worst, there were crimes of corruption in which the VP is involved. An investigation is necessary to either clear VP Joe or to uphold the rule of law and prosecute corruption. The latter is not happening for the obvious political reasons ... one of which is that this may be a very wide spread problem in DC at all levels of government.

One other point. After Shokin was removed in March 2016, what was the final result, if any, of the Burisma investigation by Ukranian authorities? Maybe Solomon has written about this, I’ll have to go find out.
Trump’s lawyers made the point yesterday that when the new administration was sworn in, the corruption in Ukraine did not suddenly end.
