I checked back into the Clinton impeachment. Abuse of Power was one of the charges voted on. Fortunately the vote for that was crushed. The Republicans must have realized the damage of a non crime charge of something as vague as abuse of power would have caused to the Republic.
Who’s the dumbass who put it in there anyway. But there were real crimes alleged on top of it, and this time that’s all they got.
