I have a friend whose daughter has 4 children, all under age ten. She homeschools them. She is SUCH an outlier that it’s really striking. Almost no Millenial women are up for this.
The homeschooling community is bigger and more successful than you might think. We have a neighbor who is a sales rep for homeschooling curricula. He goes around to homeschooling conventions and sells his stuff. It’s his full time job. There wouldn’t be conventions and competing publishers vying for the business if there weren’t a bunch of people who are homeschooling.
