John Bolton warned the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee shortly after his departure in September that former ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch's ousting was 'improper,' it was revealed Wednesday.

'He and I spoke by telephone on September 23,' Democratic Representative Eliot Engel revealed in a statement Wednesday. 'On that call, Ambassador Bolton suggested to me — unprompted — that the committee look into the recall of Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch.'

'He strongly implied that something improper had occurred around her removal as our top diplomat in Kyiv,' Engel said.

The call, on September 23, came just a few days after Bolton was ousted from his post in the administration.

This is a good example of the mindset of the deep state. They believe they own the government, shoot, that they are the government. Presidents ought to be good boys and do what the professionals tell them to do.

There may have been “improper” activities e.g. she may have been followed around or spied upon. Of course, she had several of her own spying operations going on as well.

In any case there is nothing improper about recalling an Ambassador. This is purely the POTUS’ right. No reason is needed - but he was given a reason by Ukraine president Zelensky - that she was actively subverting and undermining his administration!

I highly, highly DOUBT he would want somebody to look into Trump getting rid of her.
