Melania in fact said Bush “egged him on.” When Trump and Bush stepped off the buss, they met Arianne Zucker. Bush goaded her into hugging Trump, which Trump did, saying that, “Milania said that was OK,” as he give her a hug and kiss on the cheek. However, he was polite and acted like a gentleman from that time on.
