WASHINGTON -- House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler, one of the lead architects of Democrats’ impeachment case against the president, announced Friday that he would not be present for the final phase of Trump’s Senate trial.
“I am sorry to not be able to stay in Washington for the conclusion of the Senate impeachment trial but I need to be home with my wife at this time,” Nadler wrote in a tweet Friday. “We have many decisions to make as a family. I have every faith in my colleagues and hope the Senate will do what is right.”
Earlier this month, Nadler issued a statement explaining that his wife had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in December.

His wife is dying and he gets involved in pushing a hoax impeachment, nice priorities.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest. I’ll put politics aside to kindly wish Mrs. Nadler success in battling this terrible disease.
I do not like this guy but pancreatic cancer is horrible. I don’t wish this on anyone and it is very hard on family, too.

Nadler is a vile bitter man. I hope his wife beats this.

She was dying of cancer yesterday also. Why leave today? The likely reality is that he got sh*t-canned by Schiff and Pelousy after upstaging Schiff last night.

I’d say more like he got a smack down from Schiff about his going to the podium yesterday. His wife was sick yesterday but he chose to attend.
