We should have tied voting rights to the draft. Then if women wanted the vote, they would have to accept a risk as well. That way they would be the ones deciding to “opt out” and it wouldn’t be unfair. Heck, let the wussy men “opt out” as well. If all the hippie draft dodgers had permanently given up their voting rights to get out of the draft in Viet Nam, the country would have been better off in the long run.
