Perhaps this circus lets Biden live to gaffe another day, but they would have been better off ripping the band-aid off all at once. It’s just going to be worse for them in the end.

Bernie won Iowa and they just couldn’t let him get any momentum. California is now voting (mail in), so if Bernie won in Iowa, IMO, that momentum would have swayed voters in CA and put him in the steamroller mode.
