BREAKING: Trump attacks Governor Wolf at the SOTU
Wolf Pack, PA ^ | 5 Feb 2020 | Tom Wolf

Posted on 02/05/2020 8:14:50 AM PST by Vigilanteman

We didn't expect President Trump to use his annual State of the Union address to spread misleading smears about Governor Wolf.

But then again, Trump will mislead the American people any way he can, in the hope that it will help his re-election campaign — and Pennsylvania is key to his victory.

There's no doubt in our minds that we're getting under Trump's skin, . We are proving that no matter what he does to undermine and undo our hard-fought progress — we won't roll over.

Our fight to invest in public schools and ensure our children have a bright future is a threat to Trump. Why? Because he knows that we will succeed — and it terrifies him.

I wonder if Pennsylvanians are still proud of Tommie the Commie, who is still sending out fundraising e-mails even though we are stuck with him until the 2022 election, when he is term limited out.

Thanks, soccer Moms!

Trump's attack was not misleading, it was spot on. Wolf chose to prioritize "more money for education" (teacher's unions) over a 4th grade African American girl and her mother's right to get a choice in a school she attended over a crappy public school in Philadelphia.

She wasn't even asking for a subsidy, just the money the school got allocated anyway based on where she lived . . . and the opportunity to move it to a school of her choice.

The President's criticism was completely warranted and spot on. I am not suggesting anybody else sign up for Wolf's e-mails, but this is just one example of the fund raising drivel which he sends nearly every day!

What do these ‘Progressives’ have against Educational Freedom?
Is it the Word Freedom? I think so.

biden... 30% will
bernie 25 will
warren 25

based on the numbers coming out of iowa...

Come on, you must know its the teachers' union votes they are after. "Investing" in public education means through money at the teachers and the unions will deliver the votes. Easy peasy.

No, I’m not.

Wolf can go pound sand.

And for the record, “Wolf Pack PA”, Trump didn’t “attack” him - he merely stated facts.

But yeah, I can see how facts are scary things to lying POS democrats.

“There’s no doubt in our minds that we’re getting under Trump’s skin”

I’d like to see an analysis of the use of such phrases, including that and “they’re afraid of us” etc, likely as a projection to pump up the speaker’s ego.

Such pettiness doesn’t get under Trump’s skin. He’s not afraid of little politicians. They’re merely problems/messes which need fixing & cleaning up - something he’s very good at.

Public schools had over 70 years to “succeed”, so why have you all failed generations of young minds? And why did you fail a majority of the minorities that went through your education camps?

Answer those

Then get back to me

Leftards are the ones who believe we should continue doing the same stuff and expecting a different result- insanity

“Equality” is one of their axiomatic imperatives. Can’t be “equal” if some people opt for better education.

Takes the money out of the unions that support democrats

Takes the money away from all of these “education contractors” who donate to democrats

Takes money away from the contractors who make big dollars renovating or running public schools, which goes to Democrats

Public Schools are just another way to steal from the public and cry “its for the children”

Tommie the Commie wants all to enjoy the advantages of going to his state’s publik skoolz, where the chilluns can enjoy the best of - er - uh - something or other.

Hopefully we can see the day where all schools have to compete and we know those those “skoolz” will score.

IIRC, Wolf wants to raise the minimum wage in PA, too, which will be a real jobs killer.

Wolf's central campaign thesis was getting more money for "education" (code for the teacher's unions) by imposing a hefty "extraction tax" on the (mostly rural) oil and gas producing areas of the Commonwealth to subsidize the densely populated areas like Philadelphia.

It turned out that those areas were already getting "impact fees" which were going to rebuild and maintain our roads, schools and the like and our more rural legislators were not willing to share it with the urban areas whose only "impact" was from lower gas heating bills.

Wolf still can't get over this fact and, thus, the push to use his allies in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to redraw legislative districts more to his liking. That is the only area where the putz has been successful so far.

And for the record, “Wolf Pack PA”, Trump didn’t “attack” him - he merely stated facts.

This is the way our language is being subverted and bastardized by politics. The new definition of the word "attack" is "to criticize." Just as "Nazi" now means "somebody whose opinions differ from one's own."
