Reza Aslan: Is the world a better place or a worse place with Rush Limbaugh in it?
FEB 6, 2020 9:00 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER
Aslan and every other Islamic spokesman in the U.S. with whom Ive had any interaction is hate-filled and arrogant. Maybe they think this is a winning strategy, to show moral indignation against someone who opposes jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women. In any case, the Left is so corrupt these days that Aslan and his hateful colleagues dont have to worry about paying any price for their ugly statements. After all, consider Aslans track record in light of his media stardom: he was in the thick of the media savaging of a group of Kentucky high school students were accosted by a Native American activist, Aslan called for violence against the student most prominently featured in circulating videos of the incident. When Dinesh DSouza called him out on it, Aslan doubled down by saying he wanted to assault DSouza:
This shouldnt come as any surprise to those who are familiar with Aslans rancid public career. That this sinister jihad enabler was ever given a mainstream platform is a dispiriting sign of the times. His show on CNN was devoted to showing other religions as violent and hateful, and Islam as benign and peaceful. Also, Aslan is a Board member of the National Iranian American Council (NIAC). NIAC has been established in court as a lobbying group for the Islamic Republic of Iran. Said Michael Rubin: Jamal Abdi, NIACs policy director, now appears to push aside any pretense that NIAC is something other than Irans lobby. Speaking at the forthcoming Expose AIPAC conference, Abdi is featured on the Training: Constituent Lobbying for Iran panel. Oops. Iranian freedom activist Hassan Daioleslam documented over a two-year period that NIAC is a front group lobbying on behalf of the Iranian regime. NIAC had to pay him nearly $200,000 in legal fees after they sued him for defamation over his accusation that they were a front group for the mullahs, and lost. Yet Aslan remains on their Board.
Meanwhile, despite his increasingly obvious Islamic heterodoxy, Aslan remains popular with Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups in the U.S.: he has also spoken at events sponsored by the Muslim Students Association, a Brotherhood group, as well as at an event co-sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Doubtless they recognize that he shares their overall agenda.
Not surprisingly, after a trip to Israel he lied about being threatened by Shin Bet.
Aslan is as stupid as he is evil. Its also worth noting that despite being hailed as a great intellect, Aslan isnt actually very bright. He is, in fact, a borderline imbecile who frequently states howlingly false errors of fact, but is, never called out for them by his friends in the establishment media. He has made the ridiculous claim that the idea of resurrection simply doesnt exist in Judaism, despite numerous passages to the contrary in the Hebrew Scriptures. He has also referred to the reincarnation, which Christianity talks about although he later claimed that one was a typo. In yet another howler he later insisted was a typo, he claimed that the Biblical story of Noah was barely four verses long which he then corrected to forty, but that was wrong again, as it is 89 verses long. Aslan claimed that the founding philosophy of the Jesuits was the preferential option for the poor, when in reality, that phrase wasnt even coined until 1968. He called Turkey the second most populous Muslim country, when it is actually the eighth most populous Muslim country. He thinks Pope Pius XI, who issued the anti-fascist encyclical Mit Brennender Sorge, was a fascist. He thinks Marx and Freud gave birth to the Enlightenment, when it ended in the late 18th century, before either of them were born. He claims that the very first thing that Muhammad did was outlaw slavery, when in fact Muhammad bought slaves, took female captives as sex slaves, and owned slaves until his death. He thinks Ethiopia and Eritrea are in Central Africa.
A renowned religious scholar such as Reza Aslan should not make such elementary mistakes. But this is, of course, the man who writes than for then; apparently thinks the Latin word et is an abbreviation; and writes clowns for clowns.
Former Host Of CNNs Believer Reza Aslan Asks If The World Is Better Off Without Rush Limbaugh, by Paul Bois, Daily Wire, February 3, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
When left-wing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was recovering from lung cancer treatment, right-wing media figures as a whole showed compassion by sending her well wishes and prayers, but religious scholar Reza Aslan, formerly of CNN, seems to have a different idea on how to publicly react to another fellow human beings cancer diagnosis.
In a tweet, Aslan wondered aloud if the world would, in fact, be a better place if conservative pundit Rush Limbaugh died of lung cancer a disease he announced to be suffering from during his radio show on Monday.
Ask yourself this simple question: Is the world a better place or a worse place with Rush Limbaugh in it? Aslan openly pontificated.
Though some of Aslans followers piled on to this grotesque display of impropriety, others were notably enraged by it. Later, Aslan doubled down on his question by openly declaring Limbaugh a curse upon this nation who has caused mass suffering.
I am not celebrating anyones diagnosis. Im posing an important philosophical question, said Aslan. Rush is not my adversary he is a curse upon this nation, a purveyor of hatred and racism whos at the very least indirectly responsible for the mass suffering of countless people.

Aslan is far from alone in his glee over Limbaughs diagnosis. None other than far-left activist Tariq Nasheed tweeted, Rush Limbaugh has spent decades spewing dangerous anti-Black racism. Now he has cancer. I know we shouldnt celebrate ones misfortunes. but #PartyOverHere.
In fairness, other left-wing advocates wished Limbaugh a speedy recovery
A better place with Rush. A worse place with Reza.
There is no denying that Rush is a driving force for freedom, liberty and goodwill.
This Aslan really IS Tash.
Heard this guy interviewed on the radio once. Sounded full of rage to the point of being unhinged...
Better. Who can say the same about you?
We can ask the same question about a lot of peopleand groups.
Is the world a better place with socialiats in it?
With baby butcherers in it?
With criminal thugs of all stripes in it?
With racists who think THEY aren’t racists but everyone else is, in it?
With econuts who demand everyone give up comforts of living while they fly on private jets to their multiple homes and cars.
Get the hell out of the United Staes you antiAmerican muslim (no other kind).
Read between the lines..if the commie left gets control over our health care system, that is the question they will be asking about EVERY SINGLE PERSON who needs any kind of procedure, surgery, etc..”This person is a registered Republican, are we better off paying for this person’s surgical procedure, or just sending him home to die” God help us all if they get full control of our health care system
Asslan, Ask the same about yourself
Damned low life ungrateful Iranian. This country let him in, and he acts like this. Tell me again why we need more immigration, illegal or not.
Answer is easy. Rush is good because he shines the light on evil liars. Evil liars cant stand the light.
the people who have a problem with a kind, wealthy man who speaks the truth and isnt going to be controlled by leftist who think another way... the problem is...’they speak the truth and won’t be controlled’
same reason they hate Trump.
as for speaking out ... only the left can do that.. they want to control speech.
Better. MUCH better.
Worse for Leftists
Better for human beings
Or a better question may be:
Is the world a better place without Rush or without Muslims?
To wit, Who has killed and continues to encourage the killing of US soldiers and Marines, along with the enslavement, murder and rape of countless villages, Christians, Jews, women, children and homosexuals?
A. Rush Limbaugh
B. Muslims
Yeah, Im gonna go with B.
Liberals are asshats.
Jihadi taqqiyah isn’t worth a (verbal) response.
Better, Reza. Worse with you here.
Just, wow!
Isnt that the animal who ate dead body ashes like it was cool to be an cannibal?
