Report: Wuhan Province Cremating Hundreds per Day While China Reports Dozens of Virus Deaths

A shocking report published Saturday local time by the Epoch Times revealed that crematoriums in China are struggling to keep up with the hundreds of bodies they are receiving, suggesting Beijing is undercounting the number of coronavirus deaths in the country.

The Epoch Times, a Chinese-American anti-communist newspaper, sent journalists to speak with the heads of several funeral homes and crematoriums in Hubei province – whose capital, Wuhan, is the epicenter of the current novel coronavirus outbreak. The newspaper found that adding up the total number of people cremated per day in several funeral homes yielded a significantly larger number than the official number of deaths tallied since the outbreak began in December.

The Chinese Communist Party alerted the world to the discovery of a new type of coronavirus on January 20, over a month after locals became aware of a disease spreading and 20 days after local officials shut down a wild meat market in Wuhan where the virus is believed to have originated.

According to the Epoch Times, the crematoria were handling “4-5 times the usual cremation volume” per day. Few of those cremated were officially confirmed as coronavirus cases.

“I received 127 corpses yesterday [February 3], and burned 116. Among them, 8 were confirmed [coronavirus cases] on the death certificate and 48 were suspected,” a funeral home director in Hubei using the pseudonym “You Hu” told the newspaper. “I am about to collapse, we are under great pressure now.”

The newspaper offered insight into a larger funeral home in Hankou, a Wuhan neighborhood, which it estimated had the capacity to burn 576 people per day. “. . .

I agree on the normal death rate of about 240 a day in Wuhan. But - I read another article/twitter/whatever that some crematorium guy said they were doing 4 to 5 times as many cremations in a day than normal. Of course, he might have been posting from Boston in his mom’s basement too.

Although the lockdown of 400+ million people in China supports the idea that MANY more people are sick and dying than the official numbers say.

And as I said there would typically be 1200 deaths or so a day in wuhan province.. and about 250 a day typically in the city itself.

1. We are dealing with the Communist Chinese leadership providing most information that people are taking as factual when they are known to lie about everything.

2. There are at least 10 Crematoriums in Wuhan. If, as the article states, they are all operating somewhere near that 250 a day number, then your number is short by at least half.

You're right, Context is important.

China needs to kill off about a quarter billion people. Looks like they’ve started.

Again, I am sure that they are cremating more than normal, due to the virus... IE Folks who would normally have just been buried are being cremated because they are unsure of cause of death or being overly cautious.

Is the death rate really higher?

IE, if you find someone dead and alone in their apartment, and you aren’t dealing with an outbreak would they be cremated? Or just buried? Now, I am going to bet dollars to donuts they are far more likely to be cremated than they were otherwise.

Again, I am NOT saying the outbreak is not worse than being reported, it may very well be, but CONTEXT matters.. and simply saying hey more cremations are happening than usual (in and of itself) with no other data and context around it, does not mean that you can draw that conclusion simply from that claim.

Epstein was well protected as well. No telling what Chicoms now capable of in total desperation.

North Korea under total lockdown, has banned all foreigners from entering. This will wipe out a large portion of their income.

Chengdu, NW of Chongqing is being locked down. It is the Capitol of Sichuan Province. I also think it is the most western city locked down due to Coronavirus? Anyone feel free to correct me. Never been to China and sure as hell ain't goin' now!!!
