I noticed during the impeachment circus they brought up candidate Trump at his rally jokingly asking
Russia to dig up some emails. They did it many times.
Biden was obviously trying to be funny when he said it, but he didn’t get very many laughs, so it was awkward. What bothers me about the Washington Post is that they didn’t also use the work ‘jokingly’ regarding Donald Trump when he was obviously trying to be funny with his “Russian, if you’re listening, I hope you’re abler to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.” Fake news is not just what you report, but what you choose not to report.
He also was trying to deflect the question by making a dumb joke. Not successfully, but this is crazy old Joe we are talking about.
