Ill bet $5 that if the true numbers were known, thered be 250,000+ dead and 5-10 million infected. But well never know as the crematoria are working overtime.
Except that outside of mainland China there are still only 2 reported deaths -- 1 in Hong Kong and 1 in the Philippines.
Do these nations have better heath care?
Even the number of reported cases is extremely low:
445 international and
78 regional.

Supposedly, already 4 of the cases removed from the cruise ship in Japan need ICU.
Once those ICU beds are full, mortality will skyrocket. Everywhere.

Perhaps the virus has mutated and weakened; who knows?
Also, Viruses don’t like sunlight, heat or humidity and they weaken or are killed.

Inside China the numbers infected and serious condition have overrun the healthcare systems ability to take care of them in the citifies where the infected numbers are high, equipment and care provider wise.
This virus is a numbers game. You want to be in the first batch to get it if you must get it because as it exponentially spreads the less likely your are going to get the care you need if you become critical.
One other problem I heard tonight is that the people who get the virus can get it again as their bodies did not create an immunity to it after they had it the first time. Isn't that special.

Wouldnt trust the Philippines numbers. Winnie Xi Pooh ordered his best slave Duterte to protect Communist Chinese honor at all costs.
