Obama and his minions openly and explicitly stated that Trump’s goals for the economy were absurd and unreachable. They don’t get to take credit now that they were proven wrong.

"those jobs aren't coming back", "this is the new normal", and "what's he going to do, wave a magic wand?" tell us that Obama wasn't even trying to make the economy better. It better suited his goals for it to be poor, just as FDR was able to vastly expand government thanks to the great depression which he failed to end for a decade.

Luckily Obama is gone and like Carter will be mostly forgotten in ten years.
